Air Traffic Control Services

SAFESKYS is a £multi-million turnover Airport Services company, founded in 1993 to provide Air Traffic Controllers, associated ATC electronic engineering, Bird Control and airport contracted services. The founders have over 40 years experience in ATC and the provision of airport services.

The company currently employs staff at airports throughout the UK and Europe, and has contracts with the Ministry of Defence and many Regional Airports. Safeskys is recognised by the UK Civil Aviation Authority and Eurocontrol, is a founder member of the British Airports Group (BAG) & the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC). Safeskys is an associate member of the Airport Operators Association (AOA) and it's executives are members of the Guild of Air Traffic Control Officers (GATCO).

Safeskys is expanding its Air Traffic Control Services Division. As we achieve Air Navigation Service Provider status we have appointed Jill Wynne as the ATC Director.   To assist Jill we have appointed an ATC Operations Manager and an ATC Operations Assistant.  Both  are licenced Air Traffic Control Officers.
 
This commitment to Air Traffic Control Services shows that Safeskys is serious about challenging the existing providers of Air Traffic Control Services in Europe with a new ATCO led company.

We can accept UK ATCOs and those with Icao atc licences.

 

We manage EURATCO, the only European Recruitment Agency for ATCOs.  This scheme is awaiting European ATC approval for the common use of ATC licences.

In the past, Safeskys only provided staff to airports but increasingly airports have beeen asking us to take on the Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) role and supply the full ATC Service.  Accordingly Safeskys has commenced ANSP accreditation with the UK CAA SRG.  We are providing ATC Services at Dunsfold Airport which will be used as the vehicle for Safeskys to obtain ANSP accreditation and produce a SMS and subsequent licenced ATC for the airport.  We expect the process to be complete (subject to CAA SRG approval) by Feb 2012..
