NAVIAD Technicians - Africa
Thebephatshwa Air Base, Botswana - Ex-RAF/RN or CAA qualified technicians with experience required.
Safeskys is bidding for the contract to service and maintain the navaids and comms at an air base in Botswana. This is a two year contract starting in late 2015.
Managed from the UK by ex-RAF Trade Group 3/4 tradesmen we wish to employ two technicians to work in country. Full accommodation / LOA and 3 trips home per annum.
Below is the equipment list. Whilst OEM courses would be preferable, experience on similar equipment is the qualification. The role would also encompass training local Botswanian staff.

Full Time Bird Control Operator - RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire
SafeSkys has a vacancy for a full time bird control operator at RAF Brize Norton. The role would be to staff a Bird Control Unit as part of a team of 7 on a shift basis, working a shift cycle of 2 days on, 2 nights on and 4 days off.
Your responsibility would be to patrol the airfield in a 4WD vehicle to deter birds which could cause a hazard to aircraft. You need to have a full driving licence, be colour perception safe and able to hold a shotgun licence issued by the local police. No formal qualifications are required as full training will be provided. This could suit a person with an interest in ornithology, wildlife and the outdoors.
