Current Vacancies in Bird Control and Wildlife Management

Wildlife & Bird Control Operator - RAF Lossiemouth, near Elgin, Scotland

Salary £15,300 to £15,600 p.a.  Full time permanent

2 days shifts, 2 night shifts, sleeping day +3 days off.

SafeSkys has a vacancy starting now for a full time bird control operator at RAF Lossiemouth.  The role would be to staff a Bird Control Unit as part of a team of 6 on a 24-hour basis.  Your responsibility would be to patrol the airfield in a 4WD vehicle to deter birds which could cause a hazard to aircraft.  You need to have a full driving licence, be colour perception safe and able to hold a shotgun licence issued by the local police.  No age limits or formal qualifications are required as full training will be provided.  This would suit ex-service persons especially those with an interest in ornithology, wildlife and the outdoors.
