Weapons on Airports

Safeskys can offer airports a unique Weapons Course which is designed to 'Train the Trainer'.  This course will qualify one of your airport staff to train other airport staff in the safe handling of weapons such as shotguns, verey pistols, air rifles and ammunition including bird scaring cartridges.  Bird Control, Operations or RFFS staff may need to handle these weapons and H&S legislation demands that proper training is given.  Please contact Safeskys on 01494 558363 or email bcu@safeskys.co.uk

The next course is in early 2012.

DEER CONTROL

Do You Have Deer Problems On Your Airport ?

Safeskys employs qualified deer control experts who have the necessary expertise, big guns, licences, qualifications and experience to cull deer. Make a note for future reference and if you need advice or just need to remove these dangers from your airport, call Safeskys on 01494 558363.

GROWTH

Safeskys is expanding it's Air Traffic Control Services Division.  As we achieve Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) status we have appointed Jill Wynne as the ATC Director. To assist Jill we have appointed an ATC Operations Manager and an ATC Operations Assistant.  Both the ATC Operations Manager and the Assistant are Air Traffic Control Officers.

This commitment to Air Traffic Control Services shows that Safeskys is serious about challenging the existing providers of Air Traffic Control Services in Europe with a new ATCO led company.  We have been providing ATCOs to smaller UK airports since 1996.  They are BAe Woodford, Benbecula, Sheffield City, Swansea, Coventry, Dunsfold and Carlisle Airport.

Safeskys will tender for ATC Services at Gibraltar Airport in 2012.  We are providing services at Dunsfold and two other airports have asked us to bid for their ATC Services.
